World Autism Awareness Day

| comments

World Autism Awareness Day, April 2nd, was established by the United Nations to shine light on and bring awareness to autism as a growing health priority and is one of only four official health-specific UN Days. It’s a day to bring individual organizations from around the world together with this one unified goal.

Autism is now the fastest-growing developmental disorder in the United States and affects 1 in 68 children, so inspiring action is more important than ever. We’re honored to have partnered with two amazing causes working to do just that—New York Collaborates for Autism (NYCA) and Autism Speaks—through our past experiences with Jon Stewart, The Simpsons, Judd Apatow, Paul Rudd and more.

Last year, thanks to YOU, we raised over $2 million for NYCA and Autism Speaks. Your generosity helped NYCA launch one-of-a-kind programs and create opportunities for those with Autism Spectrum Disorder that empower them to live fulfilling and joyful lives. Autism Speaks is dedicated to researching the causes, prevention, treatments, and possible cures for autism, while spreading awareness through their annual “Light it Up Blue” initiative for Autism Awareness Day. Join us in showing your support, wearing blue and checking out the individuals whose lives were impacted by your support in the video below.*
