This Winner Went on Stage at UFC 229

| comments

The only thing more fun than going to a UFC fight? Going as UFC President Dana White’s VIP. Just ask Omaze winner, Fabian. He donated $100 to Make-A-Wish Southern Nevada and got to experience all the action of UFC 229—up close and personal.

We’re launching another incredible experience with Dana White next week. Stay tuned! And in the meantime, read on to hear all about Fabian’s epic time.

Tell us about the experience! What was the most memorable part?

Definitely being the only non-UFC person allowed on stage during the weigh-ins and standing in front of 30,000 people! There are things and experiences you can buy with money—but this wasn’t one of them. It was priceless.

You were Dana White’s VIP. What was it like meeting the UFC President?

I had a great conversation with Dana White. I’ve always respected him as an entrepreneur, but now I really appreciate him as a person. I was really impressed that he took time to support all the kids from Make-A-Wish Foundation. Especially if you consider that this was the biggest fight in the history of the sport!

Did you meet anyone else?

Yes! Drake was there and everybody was excited about him showing up. He actually came up to me and said, “What’s up, bro?” but I didn’t know who he was!

That’s awesome! Don’t worry, we won’t tell Drake. Is there anything else that you’d like to share with the Omaze community?

Omaze is fantastic! You might not always win the prize, but you’ll always have the gratitude of those you helped support with your donation.

Thanks, Fabian! And thanks to everyone who donated to Make-A-Wish® Southern Nevada. You’ve helped make some awesome kids’ dreams come true.

You can live the dream too!
