Impact Update: True Colors Fund

| comments

Last year we offered you the chance to introduce Cyndi Lauper on stage in NYC and go VIP at Kinky Boots on Broadway. Definitely an experience your winner Christopher will remember time after time. The best part though? Your donations supported True Colors Fund, co-founded by Cyndi herself, an organization working to end homelessness among LGBT youth while creating a world in which young people can be their true selves.

True Colors - Cyndi 1 - 1st

Thanks to your support, True Colors Fund has been able to expand their Forty to None Network, a national collaboration between professionals and youth committed to getting the 40% of homeless youth identifying as LGBT to zero. With your help they held their second annual #40toNoneDay this April. This day was created as a way to raise public awareness and shine a light on the issue of LGBT youth homelessness while providing supporters with simple ways to make a difference through outlets like social media and community photobooths, and has even been recognized by elected officials. This year there were participants in 61 countries, over twice as many as last year. How awesome is that? They’ve also been able to grow programs in the Network including a mobile app for LGBT youth to connect with each other.

Just want to have fun and continue your support? Enter to have dinner with Cyndi Lauper and her crew, get a backstage tour and sit VIP at her concert with Boy George!

You can live the dream too!

Check out our current experiences.
