Chief World Changer: Bessy A.

| comments

What’s a Chief World Changer? An Omaze employee who goes above and beyond their daily work and embodies our company virtues (We Before Me, Grow Together, Take Ownership, Dream Giant and Spread Joy).

Meet Bessy! She’s our Sr. Manager of Legal Operations and was nominated by her peers across the company to be recognized as Chief World Changer! Bessy has only been at Omaze for 8 months, but has made an incredible impact across the company. She is consistently willing to help others and her colleagues always mention her eternal smile, natural positivity, and the joy she brings to everything!

What’s your favorite thing about your job?

I feel so lucky to work with such an amazing group of talented, kind and positive team members. One of my favorite things about my role is the opportunity I have to collaborate with colleagues to not only complete day-to-day tasks, but to also discuss ways in which we may work together to help with process improvements that will support teams cross functionally and the organization as a whole.

In your opinion, what does it mean to be a world changer?

In my humble opinion, a world changer is someone who is a dreamer, a doer, believes in the power of community, believes in endless possibilities, is relentlessly hopeful (even in the face of adversity) and will be unafraid to take steps both small and large to help make the world a little better than how they found it.

Which Omaze core virtue means the most to you?

We before me.

What cause are you passionate about?

Social justice.

What do you like to do for fun?

I enjoy being in nature and going on beach runs. I also love learning about different cultures, enjoying music and food, plus of course spending quality time with friends and family.

And finally, what’s your dream Omaze experience? (You know we had to ask!)

Afternoon tea with Oprah.

You can live the dream too!

Check out our current experiences.
