Everyone loves Uncle George and Omaze is no different. Earlier this year, we had the honor of teaming up with the man himself to offer you the chance to Takei over the town with him and sit VIP at his show, Allegiance, on Broadway!
With all entries supporting Inspire Change Broadway, YOU also provided over 200 classrooms from communities across the tri-state area with subsidized tickets, round-trip transportation to the show and education programs helping to foster dialogue and inspire change. You gave these students the opportunity to see not only an incredible Broadway production, but one that is set during the period of Japanese-American internment in World War II and based on events from George Takei’s own childhood experience. Talk about important and inspiring.
